Little Tinkerers

 

Little Tinkerers family workshops in the 3M Tinkering Hub invite adults and children to be innovative thinkers and problem-solvers as they work together creating, building, and trying new things. Creativity flows as you and your early learner explore tools and tinker with materials. A new theme is explored the 2nd Saturday each month.

Family workshop for children 3-6 years old and one adult caregiver. We recommend no more than 3 children per adult. Adult, age 18 or older, must accompany child during the workshop. Please only register children ages 3-6 years.

Amazeum Members: $10 per child, $10 per adult caregiver
Non-Members: $12 per child, $12 per adult caregiver

Advanced registration and payment required. Refunds, in whole or part, are not available for cancellations.

August 10, 2024 9-10:30am Felting // Little Tinkerers will get hands on with interesting textiles to make a colorful masterpiece. This sensory filled exploration will engage Little Tinkerers mind and body while they practice focus and use their hands to create!

September 14, 2024 9-10:30am Tool School // Little Tinkerers and their caregivers will get out of their comfort zones as they tinker with and explore various tools. Use your imagination and creativity to build your very own creation!

October 19, 2024 9-10:30am Woodworking // We’ll explore different kinds and forms of wood to see how wood works! Practice hand-eye coordination and use new tools in this exciting workshop. Registration opens August 13 for members and August 20 for non-members
