Summer Camps

The NWA STEM Summer Institute is a two-day, immersive experience for schools interested in the AR Model STEM Designation Program. The Amazeum and NWAESC are excited to offer this hands-on learning intensive. The NWA STEM Summer Institute includes the following:

• Explore STEM integration approaches through personal, hands-on experiences designed to give both practical and pedagogical insights
• Introduction to the AR Model STEM program and application process
• Develop a STEM-focused mission and vision along with a comprehensive strategic plan
• Roundtable discussions focused on STEM integration with literacy, assessment, DEAI (diversity, equity, accessibility, inclusion)
• Sustained year-long support from the AR Model STEM team
• Exclusive access to Amazeum’s creative learning environments
• Take home materials and resources
• 12 hours of ADE professional development credits
• Light breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided each day

Registration is per school for a core team of 2-4 members. The core team should consist of a mix of content teacher(s), building level leadership, and/or instructional support personnel. Advanced registration and payment required. 

Financial aid available for Benton/Washington county schools upon request.
