Homestead Cabin & Farm

The Homestead Cabin and Farm is a rustic, inviting, old-fashioned log cabin that welcomes guests with its large front porch complete with child-sized and adult-sized wooden rocking chairs. Inside this engaging role-play area, young guests can create a quilt, make a meal over the hearth, or weave on the child-sized loom. Outside the cabin there is a garden and apple orchard to explore and plush animals to tend to. Children can gather eggs from the chicken coop, milk the cow, and collect apples and vegetables. This homestead cabin exhibit is made possible in part by the generosity of Phillip and Alta Fletcher. The farm and garden exhibit area is generously supported by Joe and Nancy Leake.
