Science Investigations

Science Integration Cohort

The Amazeum and the NWAESC Science Specialist are proud to announce a collaborative cohort for K-5 educators to develop science learning in their school communities. This semester-long partnership will consist of four collaborative learning sessions at the Amazeum, one site visit, supplies for implementation, and continued science integration support.

As the two leading science professional learning resources for educators in the region, the Amazeum and NWAESC will focus this innovative model on preparing teachers to facilitate rigorous hands-on science that aligns with AR Science standards. Sessions will include inquiry-based pedagogy, three-dimensional assessment strategies, connections to 5-E model curriculums and resources, and engaging experiences across science disciplines. In addition to the workshops, the facilitators will coordinate a school site visit with you based on your specific needs.
