That’s why we created Priceless Nights—a pay-as-you-wish evening that welcomes families to experience the museum together, regardless of financial circumstances. And thanks to the continued support of the Willard and Pat Walker Charitable Foundation, this weekly opportunity is here to stay.

In Northwest Arkansas, Curiosity Found Its Home
Every dream starts with a question, and for the Amazeum, it was this: Why doesn’t Bentonville have a children’s museum? Jim Demaree, inspired by his mother’s work founding a museum in Missouri, couldn’t stop thinking about what such a space could mean for Northwest Arkansas. When he brought the idea to Ed Clifford at the Bentonville Chamber of Commerce, the response was clear: the community needed this. That simple conversation planted the seed for what would grow into one of the region’s most cherished resources.

What does the future look like at the Scott Family Amazeum? It’s bigger, brighter, and filled with even more opportunities to spark creativity, curiosity, and connection. That’s the vision behind Exp&ing Futures, our $25 million capital campaign designed to transform the Amazeum’s campus and programs in exciting new ways.

The Scott Family Amazeum announced today that it has been selected to receive a 2024 National Moonshot Grant provided by Remake Learning, the leading free peer network for educators and innovators. The grant will provide $47,000 to support developing and organizing a regional learning ecosystem.

At the Amazeum, we’re not just inspiring the next generation of curious minds—we’re also empowering those who will guide them: our educators. This summer, we were fortunate to have two remarkable summer camp interns, Maddy Adkins and Addy Cassell, join our team. Both upcoming educators, Maddy and Addy spent the summer facilitating educational activities at our camps, and their experiences have profoundly influenced their teaching philosophies.
