Making Play Possible for All

The Walker Family Foundation Continues Support for Priceless Nights at the Amazeum

At the Amazeum, we believe that playful learning should be within reach for everyone. That’s why we created Priceless Nights—a pay-as-you-wish evening that welcomes families to experience the museum together, regardless of financial circumstances. And thanks to the continued support of the Willard and Pat Walker Charitable Foundation, this weekly opportunity is here to stay.

We’re beyond grateful to announce that the Walker Family Foundation has committed $300,000 over three years to help make Priceless Nights sustainable. Their generosity is more than a financial gift—it’s a big, joyful yes to accessibility, curiosity, and community connection.

“The Walker Charitable Foundation’s generous support enables us to open our doors wider to the community,” shared Jennifer Martinez Belt, Chief Philanthropy Officer at the Amazeum. “Their continued commitment ensures that all families, regardless of financial circumstances, can participate in the transformative learning experiences we offer.”

More Than a Visit—It’s a Spark

Priceless Nights aren’t just about getting in the door—they’re about what happens once you’re inside. It’s the joy of seeing a child’s face light up in the Tinkering Hub. It’s the confidence gained while building a cardboard city or experimenting with water currents. It’s a shared “whoa!” moment between a parent and child discovering something new together.

Since launching, Priceless Nights have welcomed thousands of families to experience the magic of the museum in an environment that is open, inviting, and financially flexible. And with the Walker Family Foundation’s support, those moments of discovery and connection will continue to grow.

A Legacy of Giving

The Walker Family Foundation has been supporting education and healthcare initiatives across Arkansas and surrounding states since 1986. Their belief in strong, healthy communities aligns beautifully with our mission—and we’re honored to have them as champions for playful learning.

So the next time you’re building, imagining, or exploring on a Wednesday evening, know that you’re part of something bigger. You’re part of a community that believes in making space for wonder. And thanks to the Walker Family Foundation, we can keep the doors wide open.
